The Tantramar Marshes is an tidal salt marsh melding with the Bay of Fundy on the Isthmus of Chignecto. The expansive area borders between Route 940, Route 16 and Route 2 near Sackville, New Brunswick. It was declared a National Wildlife Area in 1978 and is home to a historic covered bridge, several century barns, and an impressive resident and guest list of animal species. |
