The Pixelated Sky

This is what tens of thousands of Semipalmated Sandpipers look like when fleeing from a Peregrine Falcon attack. More often they go into a synchronized flight routine known as a 'murmuration' ... but sometimes that scatter like a shotgun pellets would creating this mesmerizing effect in the sky. Totally unplanned in this image, but I believe the 'parfait colours' of the hills i n the byround add a little extra to this composition.
