A view front Straight Shore on 22 June 1931, and as a waterfront fire is in progress. It would completely destroy the immigration building and immediate area along the Lower Westside of Saint John. The fire broke out at No. 7 CPR dock and damages were estimated to have approached the $10 million dollar range.
