Wild Turkeys @ Algonquin Resort

Wild Turkeys @ Algonquin Resort - Urban Wildlife
Wild Turkeys have been trotting across the border in great numbers in recent years. The State of Maine reintroduced this species in the 1970s with a major relocation project from other US states. The project was very successful and New Brunswick is now reaping the benefits in a big way. Surprised to see these large birds grazing on the lawns of a historic property in St. Andrews by_the_Sea.
